Round Corner is the town centre at Dural, where Old Northern Road meets Kenthurst Road — the Dural Mall shops, the small commercial strip around them, and the surrounding streets. It is the point where suburban Dural turns into acreage, so within a kilometre of the junction you can be working on a shop awning, a two-storey house roof and a machinery shed.

For a like-for-like roof replacement that is normally irrelevant, since it is treated as maintenance rather than development. It starts to matter with heritage listings, bushfire-prone land, and any change to roof form or pitch.
